Insulation Process of Hot Tubs

The insulation process for Hydropool Hottubs consists of four main components. The first of these components is the poly film barrier, which wraps the plumbing component securely around the shell and provides much-needed support for the weight of the water while also reducing vibration. After this, the hydro-wise thermal blanket is added. The thermal blanket helps to wrap the plumbing and floor, reflecting the radiant heat from the pumps and plumbing back into the water, which creates the first thermal barrier.

The third part of the insulation system is the 2 pounds of closed foam. The entire lip of the shell is sprayed, and the thermal blanket is then sealed to the shell. This prevents heat from escaping where the shell and cabinet join. The final step of the insulation process involves adding a stunning European-designed weather seal cabinet, which locks in and reflects the radiant waste heat from the pumps and heater. This unique combination of materials that Hydropool Hottubs offers completes the Hybrid Heat Advantage and can significantly reduce energy consumption, helping you save money in the long run.

Clearspring Filtration Process of Hot Tubs

The Clearspring filtration process is a completely new system designed specifically for Serenity Hot Tubs. This is a three-stage filtration system that helps to keep the water clean and clear. The first stage in this system is the ultra flow grill with its catch barrier that prevents debris from re-entering the hot tub. The second stage of this process is the skimmer net, which traps large debris before it reaches the filter cartridge. The new wave filter cartridge, which has a much larger surface area and filters more water than ever, is made out of microfiber with a dense inner core that traps the smallest of particles.

Hydropool Hottubs believes that clean and healthy spa water is the foundation of enjoying a hot tub. Paired with a simple system that is easily manageable, Serenity Hot Tubs promise peak performance and are equipped with an evergreen pump that filters over 80 gallons of water per minute to ensure that your Serenity Hot Tub is ready each and every time you want to use it.

What Are the Hot Tub Covers I Can Choose From?

There are three typical styles of hot tub covers that you will be choosing from. It is important that you find the one that is right for you and that will offer the best protection for your hot tub.

Insulated Hard Covers

Insulated hard covers are the standard option for most swim spas. The biggest pro for this model is that the cover provides excellent insulation and is very cost effective. However, there are some cons that this model has. The insulated hard cover usually splits into 4-6 sections that attach with Velcro and typically require two people to open. It is very difficult to remove this cover if you are doing it by yourself. Another drawback is that this cover will eventually start to absorb water, become less energy efficient, and need a replacement every 4-6 years.

Automated Covers

Automated covers such as the Covana cover are convenient, user-friendly options where anyone is able to open and close the cover with a turn of a key. This makes it a simple option for anyone who is looking to remove a cover by themselves. Though this is an important pro of the model, these covers typically require semi-annual maintenance to lubricate the moving components to keep them moving freely. Though the Covana is the most convenient option, it is also the least cost effective, with a price between 10 and 20 thousand dollars to purchase and install.

Rollaway Covers

There are many pros with rollaway covers. The first pro is the ease of use that it offers. The simple rolling design of this cover allows it to be easily used and removed by almost anyone. The rolling design also allows you to only open the cover as much as you need to. This is especially handy on Hydropool Hottubs’ dual temp model, as you will be able to only open the portion you want to use.

The rollaway cover model also is a safe option. The cover is ASTM approved and includes locking straps for a safe and secure install, preventing children or guests from entering your swim spa unsupervised. The sturdy support bars on the rollaway cover can handle more than 400 pounds per foot, and is sure to handle even the harshest of winter climates and snow.

The rollaway cover is also energy efficient. It comes with a patented insulation system, which consists of three thermal layers that keep the heat in and the cold out. This cover is available at a fraction of the cost of a Covana.

There are no real cons with this model, unless you live in a very cold winter climate. If you live in this type of climate, you would need to clean the snow off the cover before you can roll it open. This minor inconvenience applies to all of the options discussed, and it is no more difficult than brushing the snow off of your car.

Purchasing your Serenity Hot Tub is a simple process once you know all of these steps. With your Serenity Hot Tub, you can ensure that you are getting the best hot tub experience that is out there.
